DispensaryBoth Seascale and Bootle Health Centres are able to dispense medications to patients. For Seascale the dispensary service is for patients who live more than one mile from the village chemist.
At Seascale we require 24 hours’ notice for repeat prescriptions to be prepared for you. Any repeat requests received after 4pm will be dealt with on the next working day therefore the prescription will be ready to collect 24hours later (48 hours at Bootle). You can request these prescriptions in person at the dispensary, by leaving the request in the prescription box in the Seascale entrance or Bootle reception, by telephoning or by e-mailing the health centre via our website http://www.seascalehc.co.uk/repeat.asp (If requesting by e-mail please use the ‘mail received’ option on your system to ensure we have received your e-mail.) Please note: if you order via e-mail over the weekend your prescription will not be available for collection until Tuesday. Cheryl McCracken is our dispensing and medicines manager and will also act as a dispenser. Our dispensers are Cheryl, Annette, Marie, Carolyn, Susan; relief dispensers are Charlotte & Sally. They are supported by the dispensing clerks, Audrey, Barbara, Suzanne; relief clerks are Adele and Olga. Please note we are unable to provide a delivery service at the present time.
