Dying Matters

Dying Matters Week 9th - 15th May 2016 - Talk, Plan, Live

For more information, have a look here at the Dying Matters (this link will open in a new window - popups must be allowed) website

Its not too late to start talking about it.  The awareness week is 9th to 15th May 2016 and we are actively encouraging everyone to have the talk with their family, friends and neighbours so that you can plan for a good death - Talk, Plan, Live - so take a moment to think about some of the very practical things that you can prepare for and help your family to carry out your wishes.

There are some local events planned, on Monday May 9th the Hospice team are helping at a “Death café” type event at Emmaus House Care Home and on Wednesday 11th May there is an event in Workington.

There will be a “Before I Die” blackboard erected in the Hub for anyone to chalk up something from there 'must do' list (some people call it their 'bucket list'.

The Hospice shop in Workington has lots of advice to promote Hospice, discuss Dying matters and  ideas for fund raising.

If you would like more information in the practice, please ask any of the surgery team or contact:
