REQUEST A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION?

Both Seascale and Bootle Health Centres are able to dispense medications to patients. For Seascale the dispensary service is for patients who live more than one mile from the chemist.

Repeat prescription and query line: Monday-Friday 9.30am-12.30pm and 2.00-4.00pm
Closed for lunch between 1.00-2.00pm
Bootle Dispensary number: 01229 718711
Bootle dispensary opening times: Mon/Wed/Fri 9.00am-12.30pm Tues 9.00am-1.00pm
Thurs 9.00am-12.30pm and 3.00-6.00pm

At Seascale we require 24 hours’ notice for repeat prescriptions to be prepared for you. At Bootle, however, this is extended to 48 hours. You can request these prescriptions in person at the dispensary, by leaving the request in the prescription box in the Seascale entrance or Bootle reception, by telephoning or by e-mailing the health centre via this website. (If requesting by e-mail please use the ‘mail received’ option on your system to ensure we have received your e-mail.) Please note: if you order via e-mail over the weekend your prescription will not be available for collection until Tuesday.

Our dispensers are Netty, Charlotte, Sally, Marie, Carolyn, and Susan. They are supported by the dispensing clerks, Audrey, Barbara, Kayleigh (Olga and Adele). Cheryl McCracken is our Dispensing and Medicines Manager and will also act as a dispenser.

Please note we are unable to provide a delivery service at the present time.
