Seascale & Bootle Surgeries will be closed on Monday 31st May and will re-open Tuesday morning.
Please can we request that patients try to organise their medication ahead of schedule. The Dispensary Team are noticing an increased demand for prescriptions the day after a bank holiday and many patients leave themselves with no medication over the bank holiday period. This puts pressure on the Team to process the prescription the same day which we will always try and accommodate where possible, but sometimes we are unable to facilitate these requests, often if the item is not in stock.
Now is the perfect opportunity to count your medication and check you have enough to last you until after the bank holiday, if not then you should order a good week prior to the bank holiday closure.
If you are in need of medication when the Surgery is closed you are advised to contact 111 who can arrange a prescription for you to collect from a local Community Pharmacy.
