Both Seascale Health Centre and Bootle will be closed for half a day each month for staff training. These dates are posted on the front door and in the monthly newsletter ‘WellWellWell’.

WELCOME TO THE PRACTICE

Welcome to the Seascale Health Centre which serves a very diverse rural area around Seascale from Beckermet, Wilton, Eskdale, Wasdale, Bootle and the Whicham Valley. The main site is at Seascale (behind the library) but we also have a branch surgery at Bootle.

Our team is comprised of five partner doctors (non-limited partnership), one salaried GP, eight nurses, a health care assistant, dispensing staff, receptionists, medical secretaries, administration staff and clinical data summarisers. Many of our team have various skills and you may meet them acting in different capacities.

We offer a full general practice service and run specialist clinics which are detailed on this website. A dispensing service is available at both Seascale and Bootle.

We aim to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence. Our staff wear name badges and identify themselves on the telephone so you know who you are speaking to.

This website is for existing patients and for people considering registering with us. If you live in the practice area and wish to register please complete a registration form and health questionnaire, both obtainable from reception. Please note you will be registering with the practice, not an individual doctor.
