WELCOME TO THE PRACTICE
Welcome to the Seascale Health Centre which serves a very diverse rural area around Seascale from Beckermet, Wilton, Eskdale, Wasdale, Bootle and the Whicham Valley. The main site is at Seascale (behind the library) but we also have a branch surgery at Bootle.
Our team is comprised of five partner doctors (non-limited partnership), one salaried GP, a nurse practitioner, eight nurses, a health care assistant, dispensing staff, receptionists, medical secretaries, administration staff and clinical data summarisers. Many of our team have various skills and you may meet them acting in different capacities.
We offer a full general practice service and run specialist clinics which are detailed on this website. A dispensing service is available at both Seascale and Bootle.
We aim to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence. Our staff wear name badges and identify themselves on the telephone so you know who you are speaking to.
This website is intended for both existing patients and for people considering registering with us. If you live in the practice area and wish to register please complete a registration form and health questionnaire, both obtainable from reception. Please note you will be registering with the practice, not an individual doctor.
Seascale & Bootle Surgery will be closed for staff training from 1pm - 5pm on the following dates. If you call the surgery within these times, you will be automatically directed through to the Cuedoc call centre:-
13.10.09 - 19.11.09 - No training in Dec - 13.01.10 - 11.02.10 - 16.03.10
FLU CLINICS 2009 - OPEN ACCESS CLINICS WILL BE HELD ON THE FOLLOWING DATES NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED.
Seascale - Tues 6th October 9am - 6pm Thurs 8th October 9am - 6pm
Tues 27th October 9am - 12pm Thurs 5th November 1pm - 5pm
Bootle - Tues 22nd September - 1pm - 5pm Wed 30th September- 1pm - 5pm
