COVID-19 Why do I have to wait?

The NHS has issued this useful leaflet that explains why we have to wait for our COVID-19 vaccinations.

The messages that we are sharing:

The NHS will contact people in the priority groups when it is their turn to receive the vaccine.
It will take some time to get things up and running across north Cumbria and to get through the priority groups as identified by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI).
It will take a long time to even get through the first couple of priority cohorts – please be patient.
