Seascale & Bootle Surgeries Update

As we approach Easter weekend a reminder of how Seascale Health Centre is working.

In line with our colleagues across the country all of our patients are being triaged before appointments – we are seeing patients:

  • We have phone appointments
  • We can use video consultations
  • We are seeing patients face to face

We have introduced processes to keep our patients and staff as safe as we can. Over the last year we have asked people to wear face coverings when they come in, sanitise their hands, come in alone where possible. (Just like your supermarket!) It has helped keep us all safe. Thank you.

Currently we are running usual services at Seascale, and at Bootle we still have nurse appointments three mornings a week and dispensary services four mornings a week. If the nurse needs GP advice we can connect virtually with GPs at Seascale from Bootle.

We continue to offer home visits where and when they are needed which are supported by our paramedics.

We will be closed on Good Friday, over the weekend and on Easter Monday. Please note, any medication requests placed online during this time will not be picked up until Tuesday 6th April therefore the collection day will be Thursday 8th April. As always, if you need assistance during this time please call 111.
